Leading the footwear, accessories strategy across budgets in excess of £100m in George @Asda By focusing the team on key growth categories — Athleisure, Licence and Kids Footwear & Accessories Delivering sales growth of +32% year-on-year. Creation of  3-year plan for the Lingerie category targeting a +40% increase in sales revenue

Sourcing & Supplier Management

  • Sourcing & Supplier Management

  • Identifying , develop and manage supplier relationships globally, with a strong track record of establishing new supply bases and driving cost efficiencies. I have experience across direct sourcing, FOB models and UK-based distribution, Setting up 21 new Health & Beauty factories across 6 countries in just 6 months, directly growing the supply base to support the rapid scaling of the PS Beauty brand from zero to £30m in two years.

Business Growth & New Market Entry

Identify and act on growth opportunities — whether that is entering new categories, developing wholesale or retail channels, scaling an existing range, or launching into new markets. I bring both strategic thinking and hands-on execution, drawing on my consultancy and corporate experience.

 

 Secured new council accounts and wholesale accounts for period care brand WUKA, helping to grow their retail distribution.

 

Developed a new own-brand beauty accessories range for a UK distributor from concept through to market, adding a high-margin product line to their portfolio.

 

At Primark, I was instrumental in both the launch of the Love Beauty concession concept and the US market entry.

Margin Growth and commercial negotiation

Skilled and confident negotiator with a consistent record of driving margin improvement through cost price negotiation, cross-costing, supplier consolidation and product value engineering.

 Focusing  on sustainable margin growth without compromising on quality or speed to market.

 Primark,  delivered margin growth within the Beauty division of +2% year-on-year, contributing to profit growth of £17m (+20% YoY). At Bon Marche, I drove Nightwear margin improvement of +1.5% and increased core lingerie sales by +20% LFL through rebranding, packaging development and resourcing from GSP countries.

Cross functional collaboration

Work seamlessly across buying, merchandising, marketing, supply chain, finance and retail operations to deliver cohesive customer propositions and commercially successful outcomes.

 

I build strong stakeholder relationships at all levels, ensuring alignment between teams and effective execution across the business.

 

Working with supply chain & logisitics teams to move all suppliers to central distribution instead of store distribution.

Product Development & Critical path management

Managing end-to-end product development from idea to through to delivery, ensuring quality, commerciality and critical path compliance. I bring structure and pace to complex, multi-stakeholder product projects.

 

Driving redevelopment of core home wear lines, standardising raw materials and fragrances so that a variety of suppliers could be used when required and maintaining the consistency and quality of the product. Enabling a key line process negotiation of these lines.
